We just rolled out our most recent update to Voodoo Vince: Remastered. This update goes a little deeper than usual to address the issue some players have reported with the game not starting or running. It turns out the issue was mostly due to an incompatibility with D3D feature level 10.1 on certain graphics cards. VV:R now supports D3D feature level 10.1 which is good news for anyone with one of these:

We also made the FOV slider official and added it to our Options settings in the Voodoo Shop! Feel free to try it out if you're experienced discomfort with the game's default setting or if you just sit really close to your screen.

Lots of little and a few big issues addressed in the latest update to Voodoo Vince: Remastered:

- Fix for game speed slowdown in certain levels that caused Vince to move in slow-mo at times.
- Removed resolution settings in Options in favor of just windowed and fullscreen based on user's screen resolution. 
- Carnival ride sound effect changed from shrieking cats to something less murder-inducing.
- Fix for saved game timestamps in Voodoo Shop being all the same after a cloud save restore.
- Rare but awful bug where players losing last life after raising the rotating platforms in Inside The Kosmobot could not progress when returning to the level.
- Improvement to Ghost Trolley map navigation input. It is easier to move between nodes when choosing a trolley stop now.
- Level stats now limited correctly for levels played more than once.
- Fix for controller being active in more than one game window at once.

We've updated Voodoo Vince: Remastered to address some issues we've heard about since our launch yesterday:

1. Some players reported seeing a black screen at launch and/or a freeze at the Beep Games logo screen. This has been fixed.

2. Fixed issues with toggling full screen mode on/off with certain high end monitors.

3. Fixed bug that caused animation and physics to run at hyper speed when monitor refresh rate was set to higher than 60hz.

4. Fixed Pin Swing keyboard bug that prevented using the move while Vince is in mid-air.

5. Fixed rare crash in Busy Butler level. As it was caused by audio cross fade this may fix issues in other parts of the game.
